Orakos still wonky

By Bellona, in Game Masters

Those of us who enjoy play-by-(forum)-post campaigns are basically dependant upon orakos.com for keeping track of confirmed rolls using FFGs narrative dice. Unfortunately, something appears to be very buggy about that site right now.

As of late Wednesday (depending on time zone) it stopped keeping track of dice rolls. It was still possible to log on for unconfirmed dice rolls (using the "test" campaign option).

Now I can't even log into the Orakos site to make the unconfirmed rolls while using my regular log-in.

Apparently the site does accept new accounts (with new usernames). That lets me make unconfirmed dice rolls again (using the "test" campaign option).

Here's an alternative I've been using in the mean time (sorry for jumping the gun with "It works!" earlier): https://dice.skyjedi.com/

Just enter a channel name (i.e. "Alt univ PbP: Clone Wars") and your username. It can then be accessed by anyone who knows the channel name.

And, apparently, there's no way to contact the webmaster unless you go through Twitter.

(Assuming that you're referring to Orokos.) I don't have a Twitter account, and certainly no intention of getting one.

It would seem that the last roll to be logged was at "2019-12-04 22:47:26". I guess it's been down since then.

Me neither. I boycotted Facebook and Twitter.

Ditto Facebook.
