Has anyone come up with a good way to keep templates from sliding on the FFG mats? Using the Wing Formation templates can be an exercise in frustration.
Non-slip templates?
I guess you could glue something sticky to the underside. Maybe some non slip decals, the textured rubber kind.

Do you mean like they use on the bottom of tubs and showers? I think they would be too thick and make it difficult to get the nubs lined up. I had thought about using dots punched out of fine grained, self adhesive sand paper but figured that it would shred the printed surface.
Back to the drawing board.
You could try coating them with Plastidip, which you can get from Home Depot:

I’ve used it before (though not for these purposes) and it provides a great grip.

BINGO! Less than .020" thick. These just might do the trick. Have you tried them?

Nope I haven't, just an idea, I just figured the textured rubber would grip nicely on the mats.
