PDF versions

By baterax, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Hello!

I've been away from DMing this in a little while.
I want to get back into the fray now, and just got an iPad Pro.

With this new development, I was wondering if there's an option like what D&D offers in their "D&D Beyond" brand, which is official, purchasable version of ALL their material as digital stuff.
I understand theirs is a little weird because it doesn't work without an internet connection, but it's still SO nice to be able to have everything right in the iPad, even if it's a bit expensive (then again, it's actually about the same you'd spend if you bought all the actual books so... fair).

Does FFG offer anything like that?

Cheers!

Not for Star Wars.

The RPG license terms date back to the original West End Games version, before PDFs even existed. Under the terms of that license (and the video game license), digital distribution would fall under the video/electronic game license, so FFG cannot legally distribute the game via electronic means, including PDF. There are some supplementary items that slip through loopholes - follow-up modules for the Beginner Games, the dice app, etc, because they don’t provide any rules and are worthless without the physical rulebooks.

Aw man!
Ok then, off to buy the remaining actual books then.
I have about 1/3 of them already.

Thank you sir!
