Armada Player Rankings!

By shmitty, in Star Wars: Armada

I appreciate everyone that has opted in so far! Please submit your name in the form if you want to appear in the rankings.

Also, if you have final order of finish information for any tournaments that I can add to the rankings please post them here and tag me so I can add those to the system.

Euros, NOVA, and Alberta are now in there. Still need to finish Worlds, the track down UK, Canada, and Aussie Grands

I jumped into the below average players pile. Just so when I do get games in I can hopefully see how I stack up in the long run. I like things like this and would love to help.

I have the UK Grand standings if that helps. Well, almost - there were two versions (they got a score the wrong way around) and I can't remember which is the correct one - so 13th onwards is a bit messed up. I'll send a PM.

Just assume I finish 2nd at every event in Birmingham. King of Swiss

So this is more like ‘Armada major tournament player rankings’...... 😂 I agree it’s a fun thing to do, but sadly there’s no major events or event store events locally here anymore. 😢

UKs are in there now. Just need a few more Europeans to opt in to the ranking system.

Here are some results from European major tournaments.

Added in the Prime results from FFQ HQ and Florida, plus lots of other new names in there.

@Wawa666 could give you the results from the polish grand championship. Unless it will be a problem with this stuipd General Data Protection Regulation.

Ohh, nevermind. Didn`'t see that @Black Admiral gave them already.

About one year late..

Hey look, @LTD and me are "tied"! I need to take a picture because this moment won't last long once the actual information gets in.

Smitty isnt including Europeans in the list who dont sign a GDPR disclaimer. Hence why I dont appear at no. 1.

(GDPR has massively reduced the number of emails I get, its great)

So is the Last Chance Qualifier at worlds it’s own event or will the results somehow be included in worlds.

There were some behind the scenes discussion about that.

Plan is to treat it as it’s own event.

21st in the world, Ma!

When I fly in for adepticon I’ll stop over at yours Bertie and give you a game in person...

Yeah, events like the TXGO would be cool to be included. Not sure how 3rd party tourneys should be treated.

I'd like to include them. What tier they get thrown in would really just depend on turnout, number of rounds, etc.

There is another big bonus on this list 😉

There is a way to see who is qualified for worlds. It really depends if invitations are passed down or not. But from this list, there are 52 player qualified so far. 9 invitations are double used right now.

As far as i know, there is only one Grand left (2nd USA). And the data from one is missing (France). Giving 8 more invitations.
And a few more Primes. 10 are only in the list right now. There are 45 at all. 12 are finished. 26 are still open, 7 have no date so far (no idea if they are done already). Meaning 35 more invitations.
2 or 3 from Companions.
And finally the last chance qualifier.

Giving a max. of 107 invitations plus last chance.

After all, this is a really impressive list. Nearly all tournaments are in it already. 👍

There are a lot of invitations that are doubled or even tripled. Sad thing is that FFG didn't allow for them to be passed down.

I do not understand their motivation; if they want to keep the level of a competition; why organising Last Chance Qualifier? If they do it to fill out the remaining spots; why not allowing passing down the invites? LCQ is not a perfect option for European players so idk if this is a great idea.

Btw @Tokra do you know if the privilege of inviting a person as a World Champion and European Champion stacks and you can take two people? Or for the Europeans it skipped down (like the flight) and Piotr can take someone?

Didn’t allow for then to pass down?

It’s in the tournament rules fir that to happen...

We asked FFG OP directly and this is the answer they provided 😢

I do not have any info about it so far.
So far i assumed that the flight, and everything, will be passed down. But this was only my assumption.

Those are the ones from the file. I deleted already but i f I'm not mistaken:

Kraków 26.01

Warszawa 24.02

Katowice 16.03

Wrocław 27.04.

Also @Tokra and @Ginkapo would you be able to provide German and UK Regio results from this year? Most likely we will not gather them from all around the world, but at least from the major Armada scenes.

There is still not date for the German Prime Championships. They are all TBA.
