Organized Play in Germany???

By sentrionic, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

hi, i am part of a player group who want to play this game tournament level, and with a game store. but game store says, there is word of organized play for germany?

why not?

when will we get same things like english language organized play?

i would highly appreciate an information from a ffg person directly, instead of waiting for information from the german heidelberger-spieleverlag company.

thnx and bye

If you'd like a response I'd suggest contacting FFG directly (either by phone, post or email) rather than posting on a forum.

Well, here in the Czech Republic there is really no organized play as well. Except for the one I organize myself, but even without the official help of FFG we have had quite succesful leagues.

But if you want to play a top level tourney, be sure to check out the Regional Championship in Prague on the 19th of June.

There is organized play in Germany yet (eg RPC tournament with 100€ free products for the winner) and the european championship will be held in Germany: http://www.eaglecard.org/tourneyofstahleck/.
Your shop can get league kits/regional kits/battle kits from Heidelberger by contacting them and tt the moment quailfing for the german championship is running, your shop can apply for an event. And I bet the HDS guys (mainly Cerberus) will answer your question in the german forum faster than ffg (if they should ever) will.
Where in Germany are you living btw?

I would definitly like to join you at prague, but I will have to make my gaming mates come with me because I have no car. :) Any idea how long it will be?

It depends mostly on the number of players but i expect to play 5 rounds and then the Top8 (so a total of 8 rounds if you want to stay till the end).

With a little math, start is at 11:00, 8*50=400 min, thats like 7 hours rounded up + lunch pause. We get to 8 hours and the end of the finals at 19:00, give or take.

All the sideevents should end sooner.

Hope you can find someone to drive you! :)
