Crit results were not included to keep the calculations a bit simpler?
Welcome back.
Not included because Punkuser's calculator doesnt include them. Thankfully also makes it simpler.
And thanks. 🙂

Fair enough.
Your article does a great job of mathematically quantifying the feeling of "this thing is annoying to kill relative to how many points I get for doing it". At half-points the value of some ships becomes even more stark. For example:
Similar results occur for other ships, though less dramatically for those with an even number of hit points. This explains to me why it intuitively feels "bad" to shoot at ARCs unless they were already half-pointed, and how much value an odd-number hull upgrade can actually add.
As you say, though, durability is only part of how to evaluate ships, which probabaly explains the lack of naked or nearly-naked Y-wings and Starwings as filler, despite their good durability-to-cost ratio.
Great stuff. Anyone building a list would do well to read this
I do love me some torrents. Had 3 of them in my Trial/LCQ/worlds list. They’re obnoxiously hard to kill but if you get them to focus fire on a thing they can do damage.
