I haven't ever played Battlefront or read Inferno Squad. I have read about the character some online. Will she get the rest of her squad, or will she simply be an Imperial commander?

I am guessing they are using the version where she isn't a traitor yet. She will have the droid with her as a counter part (All rumors)...the rest of the squad being in the game is unknown.

That's my guess as well. Although a squad of deathtroopers with appropriate paint job might do nicely.

Is she a character already in X-Wing?

The whole Inferno Squad including the one who didn't make into BF2 are in X-wing. (She got merced in the book I think.) I am disappointed that we aren't getting the whole squad.

Maybe later as a new SF unit.

Honestly Iden is probably gonna feel like Imperial Jyn more than anything, she has a baton which she can use for instant takedowns, she had a lot of flexible weapons in the game though I personally think of the TL-50 as her signature. The tutorial mission of the game is an infiltration so I could see that. She supposedly has her droid D1O which could mean... any number of things, Dio is responsible for a variety of different abilities you can select. I assume it'll primarily have a shockprod attack like R2, but depending on what FFG does it could heal Iden or shield her, who know.

Yes she is, in the core set of the 2nd edition as a tie fighter pilot if I recall correctly...

Cool. There could be some great crossover scenarios between the two games. Are there many other Legion characters who show up in X-Wing? Luke for sure. Han and Chewie too.

I think every single one but Veers.

Nice! I see that most of the Alliance heroes are upgrades for the Falcon. That could make for some very cool action.
