this list is designed to not be effective in any way, just fun in a "I have no chance of winning" kind of way. Thane kyrell flies around regenerating afterburners. Leevan Tenza can pull a red talonroll -> boost -> barrelroll -> white evade. finally Ibtisam flies around doing all the red moves he pleases.
non-competitive ships that are absolutly worthless.
I am not saying that the x-wing or arc-170 are non-competitive. I'm just saying these loadouts are very much non-competitive.
Very very not competitive...
I'd rather use Jek Porkins with Elusive instead of Thane. Jek can pull reds all day to charge elusive, then Chopper eats elusive to fix Shields, then Chopper eats Shields to fix afterburners. It's definitely the long way 'round but you can do it all day (assuming you don't die). Lone Wolf cannot be used by Chopper because it is a recurring charge so you're getting at absolute best one more afterburner charge OR two shields.
Other than that I like the way you're rolling here, Leevan with Debris Gambit and Ibtisam with Elusive are fun jank with abilities that would be fantastic if they were closer to the top of the initiative ladder.
If your into this sort of thing I would also suggest putting Kulbee Sperado on the table with an R4 Astro. You start every activation by closing S-foils before executing a blue move, then focus link> red boost and reopen S-foils for full firepower! And you still have Talent, Mod, and Illicit slots for extra flavor.
Here's a 4x4 jank squad with some under-used mid-ace pilots (and Jake)

Originally it was Biggs in that 4th spot but point changes pushed him out. It was surprisingly effective to fly Biggs in a Drunken Shark formation and just keep him crossing paths with the others to just draw a damage here and there. It's not the same with selfless vet 😕
I've often wondered why Porkins doesn't get more love...surely his ability is pretty damned alright, especially with some regen? Swinging a Talon Roll and just popping the stress off with odds in your favor that you won't take the hit for it seem pretty good to me.
I've played Porkins (elusive/chopper) a little in Fly Casual. He's not bad tbh, his time on target is insane. Pretty much a budget Tie Defender (minus some stats), with regen.
However, I think it's hard w/Jek bc Braylen is only 52 points w/crack shot and just so crazily efficient. Having full mods on offense and rerolls on defense vs any number of attacks is too good to pass up. Plus a lot of Rebel efficiency still takes Leia crew, which means Porkins ability is not as useful
Edited by HanScottFirstI thought it was ruled Chopper and Elusive don't work together.

Hmm... Ruled by whom? It's pretty clear cut that Elusive is by game terms not a recurring charge since it lacks a recurring arrow indicator and Chopper is just looking for "1 non-recurring [standard charge]"
