I've seen the Decimator + SSD lists and they don't seem that great. However, with the release of Vanto, you can now generate any token you want ever turn so why not do a Piett SSD that's effectively Command 1 and throws 2 extra dice with 4 squadrons every turn? :D

Every Objective allows you to place obstacles so your Brunson will always get value. DCO/CB can be traded out for Kallus for more anti-squadron. The Turbolaser combo can be traded out for XI7 + whatever laser to reduce cost and take better squads.

Notes:

You don't usually want to execute a nav command on the stack because it is the last command to execute and you can't Piett the token that comes out of Vanto. T1 Stack a Squadron Token. CF for the rest of the stack.

Single activation SSDs usually don't do great as those are very predictable in both deployment and activations (For example I would be tempted to give this list first and outfly it). Also no Intel means no plan to deal with ECM-equipped ships.

Well you can always ditch the squads and go with this. Do Repair or Nav every turn.

Edit:

I suppose you can always try to maximize deployments with a 3 squadron list
