For what this is (the finale of a saga), they better darn go well over the top like this.
That said, there’s way too many Legends characters and references in here for Disney to allow. And that makes me sad - because I want them all back.
The only thing missing here is a shout out to Wraith Squadron. Even if it’s just a subtle nod. We need “Piggy” in the cockpit, even if it’s just for a brief cameo.

Hope Filoni was basically on-set every day. He’s the true guiding spirit of Star Wars as far as I’m concerned.
