Breaking News today: Cubilce & is no longer releasing The One Ring RPG due to a dispute with Sophisticated Games

Given Sophisticated Games already works with FFG on the LotR board game, could this mean we may see a LotR Genesys setting book?

FFG has said in the past (after their experience with Games Workshop) that they wanted to own the license to any RPG’s they release, but that doesn’t mean they won’t! Honestly Genesys fits really really well.

Been following a lot of the threads about The One Ring and Adventures in Middle Earth being cancelled. Genesys has been mentioned a lot in some of the conversations. I think a Genesys Middle Earth game would be pretty great.

Assuming they're interested at all, wouldn't they publish it as a separate game rather than a Genesys setting book? Same way they did with Star Wars and L5R?
