Well, I'm not into monitoring Twitter, FB, texts, emails, chat rooms, blogs and/or forums to stay current. It's a tedious waste of my life that could be used to do other things.

And yes, there are days I wish I didn't spend so much time out here. So the last thing I need is another rabbit hole.

And why is that a bad thing? Someone can say something more from their perspective without making it a company wide stance. Sounds good to me.

That is, of course, your choice. However, this does mean that others can make other decisions and benefit from them. Just as the choice is yours, the consequence (both good or ill) are yours as well.

Actually he’s bad mouthing FFG for not being straightforward about a game that we spend our hard earned cash on. Full stop. I was an FFG apologist for a long time, eventually they have broken my back and I’m firmly in the camp of Darth Meanie. When you cancel products and the only way you can find this info out is through following the breadcrumbs or reading the tea leaves something is wrong. All this bickering is pointless, some defend FFG and turn a blind eye to things that aren’t right. I was once like you and had absolute faith in FFG, until I reached my breaking point. I’ve been around games like these long enough to see what happens when you start offending your player base, and FFG has been offending many for awhile now. I’ve chosen to vote with my $$ and have stopped buying their products, not that any of their new products have been available in North Alabama since release if I had wanted to purchase them. I also emailed FFG with my complaints and have chosen to stop running organized play locally. I’m in wait and see mode, if the new app is something better and if product starts to become available locally and if quality goes back to what we have come to expect then I will reevaluate my decision. That’s a lot of if’s.

In the meantime I’ve made the only decision I could make, as opposed to continuing to support a company with the issues I’ve stated above who also doesn’t care enough about their customers to actually announce changes to production of the game we buy instead of hiding information here, there and everywhere except in official channels. They shouldn’t need plausible deniability for a post about cancelling products.

You are under a bit of a false assumption that I have absolutely faith in FFG. I do not. I do, however, think you should have an actual basis if you are going to claim favoritism, something Meanie claimed. A claim I dispute.

You know, I wasn't gonna say it before, but this thread has gone downhill fast in the last 13 hours and it feels like the right time to say it. Perhaps FFG chose discord over these forums because the FFG forums are full of bad takes and more salt than the fields of Krait.

Or perhaps the forums are like this because FFG is no longer anywhere close to where they used to be as a company. Sometimes a company becomes hugely popular and completely forgets what it was that made them popular. You can only survive off what you’ve done in the past for so long before customers realize what made them like the company is not what it used to be.

But that's kinda the point. FFG doesn't need to chose discord over the forums over twitter over facebook over twich over whatever if they would post a News Article! I mean, coming out with a new list building app, one of the few major things customers point to as needing improvement, should be out there on the front page where all those Cyber Monday shoppers can see it. It's a perfect opportunity for positive marketing and communication. Even something like "Look at all this support. Check out all of these features. Now with Epic and Huge Ships!".
