Boss + two Tandoshan Slavers

By Nyjalsan, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hi there,

I have previously flown Boss + two Tandoshan slavers, with almost all crew + gunners loaded up on them.

Trying to remember what should be added onto them.

I was thinking
Bossk would go with - Greedo + Lando
Tandoshan nr1 - zuckuss, 4-lom and Dengar maybe
Tandoshan nr2 - L337 and IG88

Idea behind all the 3, because the synergy is not really there, but solid dice rolls/modifiers/scumy tricks to have a solid shot at opponent.

Bossk usually in the back so he wont get one shoted and would be able to use greedo on its engagement. Tandoshans savers of the day and savers of Bossk. I would like to have Bossk as heavy hitter, Tandoshan nr should be something like a hitter, but if he would be dead, the tank Tandoshan nr2 could be provididng solid shots and also surviving some dmg.
Basically both Tandoshans could always take a reinforce and just stay cool. Bossk comes from the back and shoots while others get all the hits.

What would you load them up with? What strategy would you be doing then flying them? Would you have other upgrades on them in order to get them even better at the attacks?

Greedo is such a double-edged sword on anyone who's not i6(and wins the bid).

Consider 0-0-0 on Bossk, have BT-1 on someone too(possibly replacing Greedo). 0-0-0 synergizes with either Lando or BT-1, depending on opponent's choice.

Triple YV-666 actually flies better than you'd expect, surprisingly enough. You can turn them in on eachother to guard eachothers backs before passing by, etc.

I, for one, LOVE Greedo on Bossk - sure, you're gonna eat some crits. But you will always get yours!

That leaves room for Maul on one Slaver and IG-88D and Lando on the other. Double mods for everyone except Bossk, who can get extra hits. Its a lot of HP for your opponent to eat through, meanwhile you can tear $#!+ up with your plentiful mods.

For strategy? Start fairly wide. Advance fast with the farthest from your enemy, slow with closest, and somewhere in the middle with the middle one. Basically, you're trying to sideswipe them with your list so you can keep as many guns on target for as long as possible

Lando is better on Ini 2 if you play against ships with Ini 2-4 (depending on who is the first player).

Very good point.

I'd go something like this though:

Bossk (64)
Jamming Beam (0)
Unkar Plutt (2)
4-LOM (2)
Greedo (1)

Ship total: 69 Half Points: 35 Threshold: 6

Trandoshan Slaver (54)
Autoblasters (2)
Lando Calrissian (Scum) (8)
0-0-0 (5)
BT-1 (2)

Ship total: 71 Half Points: 36 Threshold: 6

Trandoshan Slaver (54)
Jamming Beam (0)
Zuckuss (2)
L3-37 (4)

Ship total: 60 Half Points: 30 Threshold: 6

Total: 200

Bossk can use 4-LOM and his ability to push damage through, and Unkar makes sure the shots are modded even if he gets blocked.

The landoshan can reinforce and spend for rerolls, and either convert a crit or have a calculate to mod with, also threatens autocrits(this was added mostly to entice opponent to give him calculate).

And the other botbarge can push damage through with Zuckuss, and avoid some damage and make it easier to shed the Zuckuss stress with L3-37.
