Store Leaderboard ties

By Uchti, in KeyForge

What happens if there are 2 people with the same amount of aember shards on spot 4 of the months list?

is there a difference if person A got the shards earlier and person B just tief in the last week? Or is it the same as if both players just land on the same shard amount in the last tournament. And how do you solve these ties?

We have the same issue. We are thinking have the two players play each other for it (using the deck of their choosing with the chains it has earned) for the prize deck. Not sure what we would do in a 3 player tie....

Well..what if the store did multiple tournaments archon and sealed and maybe reversal? what deck to play then? haha Its weird that there is no official answer?

I think if you really want to play for it, then it should be as fair as possible. Meaning an adaptive match! But no idea... I hope they do reply at some point.
This month we ended up without a tie...but maybe next?

Oh and how to give out the decks?

Random / choosing / choosing based only on houses... maybe some more infos are good? haha. what's the next 2 months cards btw? too many questions

We have this problem in Belgium: 2 people in 4th position... What have we to do?

Nothing?

Officially there is no fixed way, so it is up to the store to decided how to handle the situation.

The first rule of Keyforge is "Do as much as you can"...so I guess this means you just do as much as you can for each store.

organize a winner takes all match between the two? A best of three for an alt art deck? Roll dice? draw straws?

I'm sure you can think of something.

Most of the times, letting it fall to randomness like dice takes away from the actual achievement. Playing it out would be the preferred method, but you still need to get both players to agree to it. This is where best-of-three can be helpful to build strength of schedules.

We have decided to give 5 deck for November and announced there will be only 3 prices for December (even we will hold less events during this month, so it is kind a fair) :)
