While watching the stream, the angle of the camera or something made the rear of the onager look a lot more rounded than it does in that picture.

Plus they each have a raised portion in the center of the 'circle'. (the gun, in the case of the yt-2400, and probably the bridge for the onager).

So, yeah, while watching the stream I couldn't help but make the comparison.
