I've had the gears turning for Skirmish lists since they announced it, mostly thinking of taking 800 point ideas and shrinking them down to fit the format. First, my classic Leia Triple AT-RT list, trimmed down.
This one is straight forward and crams a lot of activations into the format (7). The AT-RTs are packing the flamethrower, as I want to see how they would manage in the smaller environment. A sniper team for the extra activation, and they can shoot anywhere on the board if they can see it, due to the smaller space.

Second is a list with Jyn, which is drawn from a list I played for a season after Jyn and the Pathfinders debuted. This has two Pathfinders, which need to be tested regarding Infiltrate in the smaller space. Grenades on everyone could make them dangerous as rush units. I would revisit this build when Offensive Push is available (likely replacing the Grenades).

Republic
I think the biggest danger with the Republic in this format is how few activations you can realistically have, since there isn't much out, and the only future units we know for certain, are more points than the existing ones. I built lists for Obi-wan and for Rex, to test each commander. For Obi-wan, I think I would play him more aggressively than I would in 800 points, just because he can move across the map quicker and have backup quicker as well. As I've done so far in our Imperial Discipline escalation league, one Clone Trooper unit without a heavy weapon for the activation + token sharing machine.
Obi-wan and Clone Detachment (500/500)

Lastly, this is almost a direct copy/paste of my Rex and the Boys list that I played in Round 1 of our Imperial Discipline Escalation league season. However, in that format, there is not the 4 Corps limit, so I had to work around it. I didn't want to force myself into a BARC, so instead, I've sacrificed that extra activation and packed everything I can in the following list. Rex can be versatile, either being a lot of support with Tactical 1/sharing an Aim, and Spotter 1 to give out an Aim to share. He'll select the Z6 troopers as his Scouting Party, while the DC-15 troopers Scout 1. This is a list that can either be super aggressive with all the scout moves, but I've found Clones can also be difficult to dislodge if they commit to hiding and Dodging.
