So, I've never actually played armada before, because I've had a hard time finding games. I've watched a lot of battle reports and videos on youtube though. I found a tournament near me in January. I'm going to try to find a few games between now and then, but I don't know if it will happen due to my work schedule. I'm planning on playing rebel and I have the following gear:
Core set (1 CR-90, 1 Nebulon, 1 Victory Star Destroyer, x-wings, tie fighters)
1 Rebel Fighter Squadrons I pack
1 Rebel Fighter Squadron II pack
1 Rogues and Villains Squadron Pack
1 CR-90 (2 total)
1 Nebulon B Frigate (2 total)
2 MC-30 Frigates
2 Rebel Transport Flotillas
1 Hammerhead Corvettes pack (2 ships)
1 Phoenix home
1 Profundity
1 Home one
1 Liberty
1 Victory Star destroyer (2 total)
1 Imperial Light Carrier
1 Interdictor

Here is the list I have put together. I tried to keep it fairly simple until I learn to play better.
1 Pelta Class Command Ship with (Phoenix Home, Leia, Engineering Captain, Projection experts, shields to maximum)
2 MC-30 scout frigates (naked)
1 MC-80 Assault Cruiser (tactical expert, reinforced blast doors)
4 Z-95 headhunters

My plan is to flank with the MC-30s while holding their front with the assault cruiser, use the Z-95's as a fighter screen, and try to keep the pelta out of range of their ships to heal shields on the other ships.

Is this terrible?

Naked mc-30 .....will still pack a punch but they are missing their teeth. Ordnance expect and come ordnance crit. And two you have to be careful that both want to go first when they line up a shot. Cr90 with trc to replace one give you a few points to upgrade and normally does not care when it activates.

Also what area are you from? Just advertising this if they is a locate near you

I'd recommend that you pick up an Assault Frigate expansion, it's ugly, but it is one of the Staples of the Rebel lineup.

On to your list, the MC30s really want some form of upgrade so they can pump out the damage. Z-95s also want to be run in swarms, and I'm not sure 4 is enough to really get them going.

Here's a list that I came up with for you. Still the same basic principle, but it replaces the Z's with a stronger, multi-purpose screen; and slaps some upgrades on the MC30s to help them pump out damage. I think that you should have all the cards for this, I'm not 100% sure on which cards are in which expansion.

MC30c Scout Frigate (69)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (5)
• Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7)
= 85 Points

MC30c Scout Frigate (69)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (5)
• Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7)
= 85 Points

MC80 Star Cruiser (96)
• General Rieekan (30)
• Flight Controllers (6)
• Leading Shots (4)
• XI7 Turbolasers (6)
• Spinal Armament (9)
= 151 Points

GR-75 Medium Transports (18)
• Jamming Field (2)
• Expanded Hangar Bay (5)
= 25 Points

Squadrons:
• E-wing Squadron (15)
• 3 x X-wing Squadron (39)
= 54 Points

Total Points: 400

I'd love to pick one up, but I can't find one around here. There are two on amazon. One is $112, the other is from outside the country, and has no reviews. I'd rather not get one with the cards in german or spanish lol. Thanks for the tips. I appreciate the help.
