Just thought of this, though while it may be an expensive unit, when clones and CIS get the personnel upgrades the comms tech will grant clones the ability for HQ uplink...

Imagine a turn 2 or 3 move where all clones fire at once deleting one or two units off the map quick, fast, and in a hurry!!!

They probably will, Clones get all comparable stuff in the Upgrade expansion, it's only droid who are weird. But remember that Comms tech is representing another guy in a Clone squad who are pretty hefty, so he will cost a chunk of change on top of the price for HQ Uplink.

Imagine when the clones actually get good units...

Imagine *if* the clones get a cheaper core that's still a "clone trooper", or if they get a clone trooper with target.

Cool, so you fire support half your army, and delete a unit or two. Then your opponent gets to move the rest of their army without worrying about you doing anything til next round. Not the greatest of trade offs, unless you get some awesome rolls. Fire support is useful, but it's a trap you've got to watch out for.
