I have also toyed around with some fang fighters.

Comments and criticism are welcome.

I vote #2. Their wonky maneuvering allows them to move well with the big tank.

I also like having another threat besides Bossk.

Xizor is usually over looked, but if theyโ€™re not shooting at Bossk, allow Xizor to โ€œborrowโ€ some Hull.

I'm inclined towards Talonbane Cobra and Old Terroch. TBC has the bonus attack dice. Old T brings ace play, token distruption, face punching.

  • Old Terroch (Crack Shot) 57
  • Talonbane Cobra (Crack Shot, Afterburners) 57
  • Bossk (Han, Jabba, Contraband Cybernetics) 85
    • Might be worth trying to squeeze Marksmanship onto Bossk. Dude is going to be pretty stationary, so it's more of a "your opponents will want to move out of there" thing, but Bossk bullseyes are scary with Marksmanship.
    • Dropping Bossk to a Trandoshan Shaver could get more expensive talents, maybe also Contraband on Talonbane, maybe some other option. Heck, maybe a Hound's Tooth/Nashtah Pup.
    • The other option is to switch Bossk for Moralo Eval. It'd require cutting Afterburners from TBC. Moralo can fly off the board, pop up along an edge, and then just park there until he's out of charges on Jabba/Contraband. For a ship which has as low mobility as the YV-666, a "place" effect seems handy.

Anyhow, there might be some ideas in here, a thread from a few pages back discussing some options for a similar YV-666 build.

Han + Jabba = Carbonite, I figure.

I would put BT-1 and Marksmanship on Bossk as a crit source he needs.

This.

I don't think the carbonite build makes the most of Bossk's ability, which means you're overpaying for what you get. I like it, but I think Bossk gets more from other squad builds.

I use Latts with Fearless Terry and Elusive Kad, it's been really fun. I'm open to changing Kad, for the sake of experimentation, but Latts and Terry have been awesome. They're nailed on.

I also very much like Trick Shot on the YV. Those side arcs, the ability to just park on Debris... the extra dice comes in more often than not and makes quite a big difference.
