Our group is doing some Aces High game play at a 1 ship 80pt limit. Looking for some suggestions. Initiative at this point does not matter.
80pt Aces Suggestions

Being a Scum player myself, I'm tempted to say Bounty Hunter, Perceptive Copilot, Deadman's Switch and Proximity Mines.
For more of an Ace there's always Darth Vader, Hate, Afterburners, Passive Sensors.

Torkil is hilarious and offers opportunities to mess with other players in a way few pilots can do. You can control who gets points for first blood and kills by strategically zeroing people. And you can cloak to protect your points if you're ahead.

I am a fledgling scum player myself so this looks good.

We are going to try and do a clockwise rotation so that initiative does not matter opening up the play to low initiative pilots. I was lowest initiative with my starviper and it sucked shooting last. I lost out on alot of great shots because of it.
However I am gonna save this one for future use as well.

Predator is there just because there were 2 points left and it can work sometimes. The idea is to have a very defensive ship that can ignore obstacles if he wants to. In general I find 5th brother AND stealth device the best options for Whisper, they give him a lot of survivability. Just try not to get shot by more than 2 ships at a time. |

Btw, what's the point of dead man's switch when you are flying a 1 ship list? I mean, it's fun for sure, but your whole squad is dead so why should you care about that final damage?

In Aces High you respawn, and it makes people just that little bit more hesitant to get into range 1 to kill you off.

Plus if I hit a fresh ship with no damage. I am robbing someone of a point for being the first to do damage to the ship.
vader afterburner passive sensors is the way to go.
no bid needed.
also wishper 5th broter juke targeting comp. fcs (78 points) can be a thing but only because it is difficult to arc dodge
