Huge ship has ordinance team, a missile and a torp equipped. Performs a reload action. So I choose 1 upgrade (say the missile) and recover 1 charge. Ordinance team says I can spend up to 3 energy to “reload that many additional charges on your equipped missile/torp upgrades”. That sounds to me like I can use those additional charges on The torp as well. Thoughts?
Huge ship ordinance question
wow. the card text is a bit of a mess. can't seem to find pictures of the card itself either. the word "reload" really messes this up. should be "regain" instead, to not confuse it with the action.
"While you perform a (reload) action, you may spend up to 3 (energy) to reload that many additional (charge) on your equipped (torpedo)/(missile) upgrades.
After you perform a (reload) action, you may spend 1 (energy) to remove 1 disarm token.
+ (reload) ► (calculate)"
but yes, you can reload charges on different cards by spending energy. that much is clear.

There is a reason for that.
Using "reload" means they have to go though all of the steps of a reload. Meaning if you decide to regain the charges on more than 1 ordinance, you cant get rid of those Weapons Disabled tokens as for each additional reload, you'd also gain the WD token (which is why in the other thread, i thought disabling the entire ship with 1 token sounded like a bit much). So if you went full out on reload, you'd sill end up with 2 WD tokens.

Nah, I think it's intentional.
'Reload' refers to the steps taken, not the action necessarily. By saying 'reload' here, it means that each time you do it you must gain a disarm token.
So you perform the reload action, you regain 1 charge on 1 equipped upgrade and then gain a disarm token. You are then allowed to spend 1 energy to reload again, but this time it doesn't count as an action. You still follow all the steps for reloading so you, regain 1 charge on 1 equipped upgrade then gain 1 disarm token.
Nothing to say the reload you spent energy on has to be a separate upgrade, so you can reload the second charge on 1 card if you choose.
