shoot the leader, he distributes damage. Shoot countdown and the damage gets soaked.

As a Striker aficianado I support TIE Strikers in wings! I would think twice about Countdown because once he takes stress from his ability to cancel damage, the wing leader has to either execute a blue maneuver, or Countdown gets no action and can't use his ability next round. It has the potential of making the wing very predictable, or else killing off Countdown's whole premise of being tough to kill.

True. A generic would also bring the price down. The leader not being stressed does change the dynamics a bit thought because you still have ailerons to get out of dodge.
