Wait, what? Did FFG state this officially?

Yes. It was from their official twitter to respond to an incoming tweet asking about when app support was coming for epic. They said it’s not, but “you can use these PDFs ...” with a link to the huge ship/epic point costs
Edited by ScummyRebelIf you just bought the CR-90, it'd be pretty much impossible to notice unless you look extremely closely at the box and compare the dial. The "button" in the center of the dial had CR90 printed on it. The back is red, like it should be, and has CR90 printed on it. And the dial it's self looks correct unless you closely examine the image on the box. All in all, there's no reason to suspect it's not the correct dial.

The button on mine had "RDR" printed on it. But you're right, I wouldn't have doubted it if I hadn't known better. Another weird, small flaw: the ship ID token (little black square with the ship's silhouette) has the raider on one side.
Huh, I hadn't noticed that. To be fair though, that token was automatically put in the ziploc holding the rest of my Ship ID tokens. I was saving them, but hadn't yet decided if I'd buy the dial upgrade kits. Do you remember of that was the punchboard sheet that mainly had tokens or something?
This is huge? (pun intended)
for many players not in the US, the chance of getting a replacement is extremely low. just has an example we still don't have wave 5 completely available here. Si most people buy through amazon, but the shipping cost are expensive.
So for all those that buy a very expensive ship around here there ia ni chance they will get the correct dial
I'm getting the correct dial via the conversion kit, but then again I'm also getting a 1st edit Raider to convert with said kit. And I'm looking for a 1st edition Rebel Transport as well. On the other hand, I'd already been planning to get the conversion kit and a couple 1st edition Huge ships. So this is no additional expense for me.

You always have the option of asking FFG or their local partner for a replacement part. And they also sent out parts to customers outside of the US.
Could be issues cost for a small bit of cardboard to be shipped overseas though.
Anyone knows if this is present in only the English version or is widepsread to all languages?

Good customer support - they shipped a replacement for one of my maneuver tools without any cost from the US to Europe.
Edited by SingulativI'm glad I read this thread - I'd opened my CR90 yesterday and it completely slipped my notice. But, yep, wrong dial, and the ship token has a Raider on one side.
Also very disappointed to learn the app won't support Huge ships. I've been playing Armada for a couple of years now, so I'm accustomed to some cost points printed on the cards becoming too expensive/too cheap as the game evolves. I thought the X-Wing app was a pretty cool idea to keep the game balanced, but I remember thinking at the time that it was also a bit of a liability. Anyway.
(Sorry if nonsensical - it's after midnight and I'm tired.)

Not that it particularly matters that the CR-90's ship ID token has an image of the Imperial Raider on one side. Those tokens are only used if you are using the maneuver dial upgrade kits. In which case, only one side of the token is going to be visible anyway.

Use YASB. The official app is bad.
May as well chime in here that my CR-90 has the raider dial and a raider button in the middle. I have a conversion kit as well, so not a big deal.
Does the CR-90 look like it has minimal to no wash on it for anyone else? Mine is surprisingly flat and bright.
