How can you build an epic list if the official app doesn't support it... come one FFG... anyone have an eta until its updated?

Not yet, we don't. In the mean time, YASB 2.0 has the Huge ships, upgrade cards, and Epic upgrade cards in already. The 2.0 Huge Ship expansions and Epic Battles haven't' been added to My Collection yet, so it'll tell you your list contains unreleased content. But you can build your list. Keep in mind that YASB doesn't tell you the changes to energy and shields the CR-90's title cards apply.

FFG gave an ETA on Twitter last week: Never. They have no plans to support epic on the official app.

Better get used to third party tools like yasb instead of the official app. Help isn’t coming.

Same placement rules as always. For a 3x6 map I might say each player supplies 6 of them, but otherwise each player supplies 3.

Not quite the same. Obstacles must be placed outside deployment areas and beyond range 1 of other obstacles. This means that in Epic, you can have obstacles touching the edge of the play area, and almost touching deployment areas, which substantially increases the options of obstacle placement in some cases. This also means you have more options for making the field a lot less dense to let those huge ships maneuver easier.

Not that huge ships care much about hitting an asteroid or debris field. So far I've seen them used a couple times to clear the field for smaller ships to maneuver easier. Of course, doing so does leave you a bit more vulnerable. But not as vulnerable as accidentally running over half your squadron, including a Large base ship, potentially can.

There’s no such thing. There is no “official” epic outside of the missions in the box. The placement is standard unless otherwise stated in the mission rules.

Where is no huge or epic in the app:

Under the radar announcement. It is like a girl that doesn't return your calls. The squad-builder "ghosted" on Epic.
