Sure, but then Rex doesn't get fire support, which negates the combo. Also, Dooku's 1-pip gives out two suppression. which would negate Obi-wan's Standby tokens. Unless there is a timing issue I am missing:

I agree with you, (hence why I don't think Rex's 1 pip is worth it). But the scenario that you describe is a bit more complicated. For instance, Dooku must attack first. He can't move, aim, or force push if Obi has a Standby. Also, most likely, Obi will be able to get a dodge from the card aswell

One correct, Dooku could force push Obi which would negate his standby. That’s one of the only non-suppression ways to remove it.

Great call, that is performing a move. Your comment about suppression also made me think of "Fear" which is insanely powerful. Handing out a free suppression (without performing an action and seemingly not requiring LOS), thereby negating a standby in range 1-2 is just great for 3 points.

More relevant: Dooku is *massive*... He towers over Grievous and shares the same proportion problems as butterball Leia/Veers/Han (try putting him next to Krennic, one of the best proportioned figures in the line).

These are digital sculpts; it should not be difficult to get their sizes right when you can put them next to each other and scale them.

What what he is taller than Grievous, that is.....well strange

In all fairness, the Grievous figure is half-crouching in its pose. If he were standing straight like Dooku he'd probably tower over any other trooper unit.

That's because of the presence of Christopher Lee. Any likeness will naturally seem larger than it actually is because he is more powerful in death than he ever was alive.

He's not crouching that much... I've got the figure in hand and bulk/height-wise he's a much bigger figure. He's a much bigger figure then Krennic, which is even more important (He's got about 30% more head than Krennic, so I guess he's a lot smarter).

Christopher Lee was 6' 5" in real life.

A B-1 battle droid is listed as being 6' 4" in height (1.93 meters)

Put your Dooku mini next to one of the B-1 squad leaders (who are posed at full height)

The Dooku mini is the correct size. Its just that Anakin was right. He thought Grievous would be taller.

...and Grievous is supposed to be 7 ft tall, so... (obviously most of his appearances have been even bigger than that, but his canon height is 2.16 m v. Dooku's 1.93 m)

That's nothing but Confederate propaganda.

They also have a wider draft range, and twice the percentage of drafted forces, than the GAR. Despite the romantic myths of "free droids defending their homes".

Yeah, and don't forget that the sons of wealthy Banking Clan and Trade Federation members were exempt from the draft so they could stay home to prevent uprisings. And don't even get me started on Dooku's "Cornerstone" speech...

And the numbers of un-free droid soldiery were even higher than researchers can estimate: volunteers were blackmailed into re-enlistment with the threat that if they didn't re-up, they'd be drafted and forced to serve in other regiments without their counterparts. They may have drafted at twice the rate of the GAR, but they forced even more droids into service off the books.

On the other hand, the clones slaughtered all the Jedi knights. But two wrongs don't make a right.

So the issue is with the Grievous model being too small. But we dont know that for sure unless a few things are determined accurately:

1) Is Grievous' listed canon height measured from a) a full standing posture or b) from a typical hunched posture

2) If (a) is true then we would need to pose a Grievous Legion model with legs fully extended and torso fully upright. Failing that, we could potentially attempt to measure each section of his legs and extrapolate a full standing height

He towers over Obi-wan when standing upright in revenge of the sith

https://images.app.goo.gl/XzHz3yecRxyuP66U9

But appears to be about as tall as his Magnaguards when hunched over in typical posture. Magnaguards have a listed canon height of 1.95 meters or about 6'5" (which is conveniently close to Mr. Lee's height)

Holding my Dooku and Grievous (with the hunched stance FFG gave him) models side by side I see a negligible difference in height between them (perhaps a milimeter), a discrepency easily explained by differences in Grievous' posture as opposed to any fudging of scale.

Dooku is just to big in general... Seriously, put him next to Krennic. FFG sculptors just can't do consistent scale proportions to save their lives and they don't even have the excuse of using modelling putty.

Probably because Christopher Lee is 6'5" while Ben Mendelson is 5'11". Dooku should have about 6" on Krennic, which is reflected in the model.

Your argument assumes that all people are the same height

It also assumes that Lee wasn't a butterball. Dooku is basically a Primaris marine next to a Catachan.
