Oh, that reminds me. Zero looks a lot like the droid from Chapter 3 that I thought looked like a Gank. I believe that, unfortunately, means that it wasn't a Gank, but just a reused costume (of a droid).
Mandalorian - Spoilers inside, don't read until watched
Glad we got to see the "Zero"-type droid again. Could've sworn we'd seen more of it in the footage we got before the show began streaming. Kinda want to roll up a pilot/guy in the chair character now.
Also, R1s having antennas continues to haunt me and I'll have to be sure to burn down Hasbro for their gaffe after HasLab Unicron ships.
It was really cool to see the vx hands-free weapon system in action.
Also Clancy Brown as a brawny devaronian.
Also 3 of the shows directors as xwing pilots.
Also Mando being like a horror movie villain sneaking around in the shadows and getting all the peeps
My only concern is about Leku, they are way too much plastic, and motionless.
My favorite episode now, excellent from start to the end

One does like a little bounce in one's leku. I prefer a girl with supple leku that dance and sway when she walks.
I just figured out what has been bugging me about the show somewhat.
How can the kid have a bounty on its head?
I mean, it’s the bounty hunters guild, not the kidnappers or assassins guild... Saying a baby can be brought in dead or alive seems to be completely at odds with the trade. Or am I crazy?
It's a bounty. You can put a bounty on anything, including items.

Bounty Hunter = Galactic Repo Man.

In fact you can’t.
A bounty hunter very specifically hunts down criminals and/or fugitives.

Totally different thing.

From Wookieepedia (bounty hunter) (emphasis is mine):
QuoteBounty hunters primarily worked to capture or kill fugitives and others with a bounty on their head.
From Wookieepedia (bounty):
QuoteA bounty was a monetary reward given when someone was captured or killed for a client.

I think there are legal law enforcement bounties, and off-the-books, under-the-table bounties.

I don’t usually visit wookieepedia to find the meaning of well-established terms to be honest.
And let’s be frank, if people put up money for kidnappiNg or killing a baby we would never call that a bounty, would we?

Oh don’t get me wrong I am on board with the concept it just strikes me as something an actual guild would never agree to.

I don't think the Bounty Hunting guild is known for it's scruples. I don't think we should confuse them with the modern bounty system in place in America, whom aren't known for their scruples either.

Okay... so I guess I am alone in finding it weird that bounty hunters (in any alternative universe) would consider killing a baby for money then?
Okay, noted!

A bounty hunter is a mercenary by another name. Some have ethics, some don't.

Now that I think about it, dude was totally channeling Batman in how he approached taking them down, especially the leader of the troupe.

I was actually surprised he captured them. It was kind of dumb of the to do a prison break without masks on, the security droids must record everything they see.

I think that's the major point, is that the occupation of "bounty hunter" in the GFFA is a very different connotation than it does in the real world.
Going all the way back to ESB, the collection of "bounty hunters" (identified by Piett as such if I recall the scene right) that Vader is speaking with do act more like mercenaries or guns-for-hire. WEG pretty much ran with the notion of bounty hunter of being (in that setting) a generally unscrupulous person that hunts down sentient beings for money; there's a few decent apples in the bunch, but the majority are rotten/self-serving opportunists to the core. After all, Boba Fett (pretty much the prototypical Star Wars bounty hunter) tracked down Solo and then turned him over to Jabba (a well-known gangster) on account of the high price that Jabba had put on Solo's head due to the smuggler having welshed on a debt, after having already collected his money from Vader. It's almost to the point that the about the only major difference between the bounty hunting profession and out-and-out assassination in Star Wars is that the former profession usually has a better pay-out if the target is brought in alive.
If a bounty hunter in our world tried even a tenth of the shenanigans that SW bounty hunters get up to, they'd be fined and/or imprisoned in addition to having their licenses revoked.

I got the feeling that half their intent was to leave the Mando behind in the cell to take the blame, and then abscond with his ship from the very start of the job. Whether the grizzled older guy intended that from the start or not is up for debate, but I also got the feeling the Mando concluded that he'd been set-up from the start, thus giving him even more incentive to let the wrath of the New Republic fall on that guy's head.

This is Star Wars, not 21st century earth. CCTV cameras and similar surveillance tech is very rare. Data storage is flatout archaeic.
Bill Burr was amazing by the way. He managed to be Bill Burr in a Star Wars show with being Bill Burr in a Star Wars show. I know this probably makes no sense but I find it refreshing.
@micheldebruyn Go read New Dawn it indicates the Empire was a surveillance state, cameras everywhere. All that tech would be common seven years later, beside droids record everything they see that’s well established.

This seems to be one of those books-only things. Or even a this-specific-book-only thing.
