So, I’m playing Talisman with my wife and best friend last night, and my 8 year old daughter is watching the game, like she often does. She doesn’t play but likes to watch what her parents are doing. She then heads off, and I think she just got bored. She comes back after 30 min with an 8.5 x 11 paper, drawn in with the following, and gives it to her mother...

She is allowed to look at your spells when you get them.

She will remain with you until the end of the game, even when you have to change your character.

She cannot be stolen.

She even did the backing of the paper as per the backs of the talisman adventure cards.

We all almost cried. Just thought I had to share. Have a good evening all.

Thanks. And absolutely. It's more of a sheet of paper, but she gets to hold it, as of now, when we play Talisman. She only seemed to have casual interest, but the level of detail ("Follower" "Cannot be stolen" etc...) reminds us all that little eyes and little ears perceive a LOT more than we think.

thats awesome, i play with my son. hes been playing for almost 3 years. he got the game for his 7th bday, he turns 10 in august. he plays with me and my friends and we dont ever take it easy on him. we have a rule when we play (well more of a slogan) NO SUCH THING AS A FRIENDLY GAME OF TALISMAN!!! so he has learned the hard way.
