Harbinger of Doom help

By Chikahiro, in KeyForge

So, I just bought Keyforge's starter box and had my first game. It was quite fun! :)

One card I had and played was Harbinger of Doom. But, when I played it, my friend and I disagreed on what it actually did when it was destroyed. Its description is "Destroyed: Destroy each creature."

  • I thought it meant that it destroys both itself and the other creature in the fight (regardless of which was the target and which was the attacker).
  • He thought it meant "destroy each creature" on the battlefield. Like, everything. Wiping out both sides.

I'm a little lost, and would like to play it correctly next time. But which is correct?

Each Creature out in play. Your friend is right.

Really? Wow... that's amazingly scary O_O

I figured it would be "all creatures in play" or something. Whelp, sheesh, now I'm scared to use him! :D

It's all about timing. Reap with everything except him, send him on a suicide run, then play a bunch of creatures.

I love him in combination with Obsidian Forge (that is already in play). Kill him the turn he comes into play, then play the rest of your creatures.
