Aces High: Respawn + Placed Objects

By emeraldbeacon, in X-Wing Rules Questions

In the Aces High multiplayer format, if you are destroyed, what happens to any of your placed objects (fused bombs, mines, remotes, obstacles, etc)? Are they removed with you at end of round, or do they remain on the table? We already know that charges fully recover when respawning, which could allow for some rather ridiculous board states, where someone like Nym can drop a pair of proximity mines, then another pair, for lots of added defense on his second life. Another example:

  • Han Solo (Scum)
    • Trick Shot
    • Lando's Millennium Falcon
    • Greedo
    • Rigged Cargo Chute
    • Jabba the Hutt
  • Total: 75

Han now has the opportunity to place FIVE loose cargo tokens on the table (original charge + 4 more from Jabba). If he's destroyed, that could conceivably mean up to five MORE large debris fields on the table.

Your thoughts?

Nothing, they stay in place. Alex used that to good effect to lock out a jump in point with a Connor Net during their demo game back in Sept. For reference ( thanks @wurms ) :

I guess we still need to see the rules for Restoring ships (page 11)... ;)

You only score points for attacks, not devices.

More obstacles mean more opportunities for seismic charges.
