I don´t understand why everybody says, that 2-player variant lacks suspicion about who is Cylon. I´ve figured out the trick which preserves this important spice of the game. Simply pick 2 cards You are not Cylon and 1 You are Cylon. Shuffle, Place them on the table and let your partner pick one, then you pick another.

Now, nobody knows if the other player is Cylon.

Try it. And then wonder why the Cylons win almost exactly 2/3 of your games, and the humans win almost exactly 1/3.
