No mention of a vehicle attachment section makes me a sad boy. but the starhawk looks tasty, really dig the unusual shield arrangement.
Not a particularly original title. Several posters called it.
Do these collected books contain all the gear, starships etc?

Given the alliteration pattern established for these compilation books, there weren’t many options. Off the top of my head, it would either be this or (as a callback to the Essential Guides) Vehicles and Vessels

All, no. Many highlights (and some new material), yes.
What I'd want this book to have:
A picture for every ship. It doesn't need to be a full colour art piece, a simple line art will do fine.
All the attachments in a big list.
I imagine it won't have these things, somehow.

Me too. Deck plans would be asking too much u suppose...

It would take an entire book to have deckplans for an ISD, so yeah, probably ever so slightly impractical...
Ooo! It's got Lando on the front! I want it just for that!
Here's hoping it's got a bunch of new CW stuff (or at least stuff that wasn't in the CW sourcebooks).

Not even the gear book, for which it would've been fairly straightforward, had complete line art. Bummer, as flavor text for a weapon isn't as meaningful to me as with an NPC, and it really comes down to looks. That said, my buddy speculated that definitive imagery may be complicated for licensing, and whether or not it's true, gives me permission to let FFG off the hook.

Came here to say this. I hope it's got all the attachments/mods etc, otherwise I don't see the need for me to buy this as I'll still be jumping between books to get all the information anyway

I appreciate that licensing likely kills the idea, but a man can dream, can't he? It is incredibly annoying when your players really want to see the ship (almost always a light freighter) that is being discussed/shot/stolen etc. Theatre of the mind can only carry you so far.

I still can't believe we never got a deck of ships ala the Adversary decks. Would've loved to have those to hand out to my players.
Edited by LeighPouseI just want some of the more obscure capital vessels statted
-Assault Frigates
-Strike Cruiser
-Dauntless Cruiser
-Liberator Cruiser
-Nebulon-B2
-Carrack
ect.

You mean like these?
I know they're not official, but definitely close enough for government work...

Warships and Wessels??
I guess that would be for that other scifi series

Here's the thing, is there's not really been a whole lot in the way of new attachments/mods introduced in the various books. Most of what's available is found in each of the core rulebooks already, and even that only covers a few pages.
I'd rather they give pages to new ships (even if it's just stat blocks for iconic ships) than reprint material that the bulk of which is in all three core books that pretty much anyone that plays this game is going to have at least one of.
Edit: So I glanced back at some of the early product announcements for Gadgets & Gear, and from a skim through there was no mention of including weapon/armor attachments in that book. So it may well be that the various ship attachments do get reprinted in this book.
Edited by Donovan MorningfireFrom the books I have, there are already 4 times as many attachments as are in the CRBs.
I agree that it is unlikely and that the space would probably be better served by new vehicles, but having a compiled list of attachments would be very helpful.

Oh, I read you. The old LibrariaNPC ship creation threads were a huge help for visualizing.
Personally, I hope the take some of the ships that have been printed multiple times with different stats and just pick ONE. 🙄
Maybe a small paragraph concerning Silhouette consistency (or lack there of). Like some speeder bikes that are about the same size as the rider being Sil 2 as well as a speeder truck also being Sil 2. Bigger bikes, speeders and trucks sharing Sil 2 doesn't bother me as much, but some are definitely Sil 1 (Mando bike, I'm looking at you). Same could be said for some of the starships. I mean, they set a precedent with the My'til being Sil 2, but that's the only one, even though other ships are the same size...
Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

My money was on Junkers and Jalopies . Oh well, no biggie.
If my bookie asks though, you haven't seen me.
