I'm in the US and one of my local stores said they would be out on the 15th.

I really hope we get a preview, someone shared the spanish command cards, but I am hoping to proxy him this week and weekend to use in a local store tournament next Sunday and it would be easier to print english cards.

Matt Holland put out last week (I think) they'd be released on the 15th, so I hope they're shipping.

Bit of a conspiracy theorist here, but I wonder I wonder if this was the plan all along? We know the Luke/Vader operatives were shoehorned in because Lucasfilm demanded them, and that's why they seemed so out of left field and interrupted the CW releases. I wonder if FFG slotted them where they did to appease the powers that be, knowing that they really wouldn't be ready in the order they were, while Dooku and Rex would be. The release schedule we're getting now makes far more sense than the initial one, though the CW release snafu does indicate they're just having problems.

when are Luke and Vader hitting the U.S. stores?

I pre-ordered them with the tanks so looks like I'll be waiting a bit for them

It was in the Notorious Scoundrels, they did an interview a bit ago and talked about it along with a lot of other things.

It was in an interview with one of the two podcast on the 5th trooper podcast. They wanted to do Luke/vader, but Disney said OT stuff now. If you check the product number dooku/Rex should have been right after clone wars. Soooooo we r in a strange place or back on track???

It came direct from Alex Davy and Luke Eddy in an interview on the Notorious Scoundrels podcast, episode 49.

I think they reiterated it on the AMA too.

Not that it needs to be a conspiracy, the story was more like while developing the core and early Clone Wars LFL (who looks at all this stuff) was like "can you guys also still do some OT stuff though?" and since FFG seems to have a pretty good relationship with them, they said okay and worked on the new operatives. Plus the devs have no control over how the rest of the company decided to roll out the product they develop.

The "real conspiracy" angle here is I think the date is being pushed up because some kits ended up in the wild in south america, so the marketing or shipping team has realized they need to try and get it out sooner rather than later in a big push because otherwise you may have some sassy customers thinking about how one region gets new toys by mistake. Similarly I don't think Luke and Vader were supposed to be announced quite so soon, but leaks meant they decided to own up to it and announce rather than hold back.

I am not into crazy theories, but I do wonder their grand plan with this order. Dooku/Rex are now getting the release corrected from Q1 to now. The escape pod was pushed back by several months, but GAR could have really used the help. Those two alone helps Clone Wars looks better planned out............... mostly.

Still think the weapon pack, Luke/Vader, and the missing units (Iden/Cassien most like) are just weird choices to throw in the middle. I am really interested in the remaining release order now and the 8 units coming out in Q1.

59 and 60 were the numbers reported for Iden and Cassian, and I think that was prior to so much of the other numbers being filled in. That bodes well for the Iden/Cassian rumor being true.

- Legion Paints – November 29 (tentative)
- Upgrade Expansions, Luke Skywalker / Darth Vader Operatives, Imperial Bunker, Crashed Escape Pod – December

My local store website suggests the Escape pod is due out with Dooku and Rex. Not sure I believe it though. Will wait and see.
