I was wondering why no RPG books are listed getting reprints? Is there a 2nd addition coming out? Has anyone heard anything?
Why no reprint of current books.

No one has heard anything.
FFG prints as needed. I'd guess that they still have some stock in the warehouse for most of their books.

Who knows. Maybe? Maybe not?
Speculation is futile, but enjoyable.
One would wonder what a second edition would bring to the table. They probably can't go all Genesys on it for contractual reasons. What actual changes are needed to justify a second edition, rather than a compilation of errata and rules clarifications (and suggestions,) but that is kind of what Genesys already represents.
I think there will be more era books at some point. Tied to new stories and areas (sequels, mandalorian, the new novel, comic books, etc) as they are fleshed out. Presupposing that FFG keeps hold of the license, which currently there isn't many reasons to doubt considering the success of the other Star Wars games they produce.

Maybe not a full-blown second edition, but perhaps revised editions of each core rulebook might be on the table at some later point.
As is often the case with any RPG, the designers by now have a much better feel for what does and doesn't break the system. Compare the species and specs published in EotE compared to some of the species and specs we get in later books. It very much feels like EotE was playing it safe in comparison (which is understandable as it was a brand new system and nobody really had a solid comfort level with how far things could be pushed before the system broke).
Add both the greater experience with the NADS both in terms of Star Wars and especially Genesys (where they've been a lot more free to experiment with various mechanics), and there are some definite points in this line that could use some updates. Vehicle/starship combat is one instance, as that's something a wide swath of folks have had issues with. Tweaks perhaps to various specs, as some of the EotE ones are woefully outdated (Bodyguard springs to mind for me) in light of more recent material and talents that now exist. Probably a number of little things could be revamped to make the game run smoother or even just clear up some bits of confusion where things may not be explained as well as they could be, or some very useful bit of primary rules text that was originally tucked away into a sidebar (which can frequently get overlooked by readers) be moved into the main text.
There's also the matter of the Force, as the game was written with the idea of mimicking Luke's relatively slow progression in the OT (he only grew by leaps and bounds in ability after visiting Yoda on Dagobah, though what training exactly that involved remains murky), which was understandable since at the time that's how it was. But for better or worse, the sequel trilogy has turned that on its head with Rey and her fairly quick on-screen progression. I get that at the time the system was being built that the designers were trying to avert the usual trend of Force users quickly becoming super-powerful (something that as much as I love those systems both d6 and Saga Edition suffered from, albeit at different speeds), one can't start to wonder if perhaps they may have been a little too reserved with how Force powers operate. I've had a few players (both newblood and old guard) feel dissatisfaction with playing Force users in this system, as took a very long time for their character to become reasonably proficient with using the Force, whether it be getting their Force Rating up or just getting enough upgrades so what few Force points they do generate can get sufficient mileage.
It might be worth noting that FFG has released a PDF on drivethruprg.com called "Starcana", which is a Genesys campaign setting. It's pretty much "Star Wars", mechanically speaking, everything from the skill list to ship stats are almost identical. The only thing missing is the Force, but that's easily gained using the basic magic rules, plus other PDFs they've release, like MegaCity Magic (ala Shadowrun).
So I have to wonder if they are going to bother reprinting anything, everything they need for a v2.0 is in place. I would personally welcome an official Genesys-based rewrite, and frankly I think the market would welcome it too.

FFG hasn’t released Starcana, it was released through the Genesys Foundry program, launched a couple of months ago, that allows for user-created Genesys content to be sold through drivethroughrpg, with FFG and DTR getting a cut of the sales but the creators still retaining ownership of any original IP they create.
Starcana is produced by Studio 404, co-owned by the Order 66 Podcast’s own GM Phil. The setting sounds interesting. I just haven’t bought it yet because this had been a tough year, money-wise. There’s a lot of cool looking content on the Foundry, some of which could easily be repurposed for Star Wars.
Ah, thanks for the correction. On drivethrurpg it looked like the publisher was FFG.

Understandable, since the Genesys Foundry program is administered by FFG, and Genesys itself is an FFG property. It’s all good. (Looking back, that first sentence of mine seems a little curt, too. Sorry about that.)

It's worth checking out. It's a neat take on a space opera setting, with some rather interesting setting twists. The companion adventure is also quite good, having what is very much a "haunted house in space" style of vibe in the later half.

To add on to what Nytwing said, anything that's listed as part of the Foundry is NOT an official FFG product, much the same as much of what's sold in the DM's Guild over on DriveThruRPG isn't an officially approved WotC product or a number of whats offered under the Explorer's Society for 7th Sea 2e (many of which were listed as being published by John Wick Productions even though JWP had nothing to do with those products beyond at the time owning the 7th Sea brand).
Some of FFG's more regular freelancers (such as Keith Kappel and Sterling Hershey) may have published Genesys material for the Foundry, but again it's not FFG material.
Maybe FFG are winding down for a bit... the generic stuff books (G&G and S&S) may just be the winding down. If they reprint the core we'll know that we may have another year of reprints... dunno, but it's been one **** of a ride!
I just looked through the pages for the Star Wars books and only Dangerous Covenants and Keeping the Peace are out of stock.
As the Upcoming page no longer has an "At the Printer" category that I've noticed, it could be that those two books are in the process of being reprinted.
As for "winding down": remember, they only have one RPG department, and their attention is split between Star Wars, Genesys, and Legend of the Five Rings. That impacts their release schedule, even if they rely heavily on freelancers.
Also, keep in mind that we've been between big media releases for Star Wars. The black and blue books started after the main lines were largely finished. Aside from adventures and sector books (Suns of Fortune, etc) what would they add to each line? Its all cast in a very small window of time. Dawn of Rebellion (and the other "black and blue" books) came out after Rebels wound down. The prequels and Clone Wars (Rise of the Separatists and Fall of the Republic) are also long finished. So those books were fair game to publish. I suspect once Episode IX drops the sequel era will be fair game for era books, too. FFG may already have a solid outline for sequel era books already. And once The Mandalorian drops there will provide a foundation for "Fall of the Empire" era books. The Kenobi and Cassian Andor series, should they occur, may also inspire some books. As a licensed product FFG Star Wars is, for better or worse, intimately bound up with the Star Wars media cycle. And lucky us? We are about the be carpet bombed with Star Wars for the next few months....

Including The Mandalorian in just two days!!
I'm already trying to SAVE money.... they need to reprint stuff I already have, not stuff that I WANT or NEED ❤️
