It beat a Dutch, Nora, Wedge, Thane list but admittedly my opponent had possibly the worst luck with rocks (5 damage) and attack dice (two range one modded shots with ion turrets on the Ghost netted only two damage and no ions) I've ever seen, but it was fun. Cassian let me turn Arvel into a guided missile to block aces (a range one crack, shot intimidation shot on Wedge got the rebel ace to one hull). Basically having Sense already on the Ghost freed up Kanan's force for dice mods, using his ability or (most often) use heighten perception to shoot before everything. Nora had the Ghost lined up range one but I shot in front of her with heightened perception and she came out of it with one hull left, weapons failure, structural damage and disabled power regulator (thanks Saw!).
Is it competitive? Probably not. But it seems fun. Shedding the hull upgrade on the ghost gives me enough points to turn Porkins to Thane and can turn Arvel to Jake, which I may try at some point. I haven't seen Cassian crew get much play but he seems like he can be pretty dirty in the right circumstances.
