Advanced Transponder Net

By Matt Antilles, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Intel gives opposing squadrons Heavy, thereby allowing them to attack enemy ships.

Is Advanced Transponder Net basically counter-Intel for squadrons defending a ship?

If so, that's amazing. Because enemy squads cannot attack your ships until all your squads are dead. Eat through my 10 Y-wings your Intel is useless haha.

Even more, if no intel your heavy squadrons still stop bombing runs.

So it does counter the Heavy given out by Intel? It doesn't have to be a squadron that natively has Heavy?

any squadron that is Heavy, as Intel gives enemy squadrons Heavy.

Well, Intel actually gives heavy, just as QBT gives counter.

They can still fly out of your range when you are heavy, and can attack the ship on another side, where you don't have any squadrons.

But when you combine an Instigator and Transponder Net, you will have some fun 😉 .
