Durge would be great. Give him mediocre command cards, but a high regen value.
I'd rather have Jango Fett along with some jump-pack droids. Be nice to have a hero with some major mobility. Even if he died 20 minutes into the Clone Wars, he still participated and was a big part of the film, lol.
Nice that the B1 upgrades gives you a unit card. Converting the spare heavy weapons from the starter and 1 or 2 B1 expansions should give you enough spare Droids to make a free squad.

Just like the other boxes, you shouldn't need to do any conversion to get an entire new unit with 2 core sets + 1 upgrade pack. FFG did a poo-poo with CIS here

I wouldnt be surprised if he is the crew for the AAT because ayla secure and plo koon are the crew/pilot upgrades for the republic tank, but I'm sure most people here would refer/think of those two as commanders and not tank pilots/crew

Yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised either. I would just de disappointed with FFG for getting my hopes up for a vehicle-focused commander.

I rather see super tactical droids, so I am super bias on the subject. They are used a lot in the TV show as the leaders of the CIS forces, show up in Rebels, and I would think they could come with different options/pirces (droids have been the viewed faction so far). I sort of see Nute Gunray (who I love) and many of the CIS council (who I am indifferent to) as more of a political figure since I do not think he ever command an army or even fired a gun in anything in canon. Sort of like Mon Mothma who never really fought or commanded despite being the leader of the Rebellion. I also think that they may just avoid the problem and make Ventress and Papa Palp into commanders and make bounty hunters into their operatives to avoid the for now. Will be super interesting to see what way they go.

You all are assuming there will be a scum faction, also Boba Fett did less with the empire then Jango did with the CIS

Of course there will be a Scum and Mercenary Faction. That's the only reason we're playing the game is to lay the groundwork for the S and M faction.

They joked about Hondo for all factions so maybe? They also like their units to be similar so I am curious to see if Boba, the Senate, At-RTs, and wookies get reused.

Why Can't CIS get both. I mean Empire has Fett and Bossk. I'm honesly all for every character and every faction possible being in the game so everyone can have fun. Also it would mean the game is popular and lasting long enough for people to get all these options

That is my bad on not saying that most likely we will get both eventually. I just look at the release order for Legion and figure that is what to expect in the next year. Four commanders and three operatives and its more wishful thinking on my part that I could have Cad Bane or Embo sooner rather then later. Same for the CIS council. They would be fun to play and paint, I just would rather get some alien/droid general from the show.
Figure everyone will get in at some point ................except Jar Jar I would be shocked if he ever makes it in. Gungans would be cool tho.

I believe they said Gungans are happening in the AMA so Jar Jar actually sounds quite likely, uncanny luck sounds like something for him
