So we should pay for an ability the BARC doesn’t possess?

People keep also saying the BARC has Fire Support. That is not something the BARC does it is something clones do and the cost is baked in to that unit.

As well if a BARC can use surges it’s because they were garnered from elsewhere and I’m sure the points were baked into that as well.

People arnt saying BARC has fire support, they are saying they can contribute to a firesupport pool that surges to crit.

The BARC would be initiating the attack, clone uses firesupport.

They might as well say the BARC has Fire Support, they’re alluding to that heavily. To recap, people are saying that because clones can Fire Support, the BARC should cost more. I’m saying the BARC doesn’t have the Fire Support ability and shouldn’t pay for it. The cost of Fire Support was already baked into the clones that actually have the keyword. If you make the BARC pay for it as well, then the army pays twice for an ability on one unit.

I belive the consensus is that we don't take them as soon as we have the chance.

but aside from that. the side car clips in and.out with out having to do any thing extra.

I'm going to glue the legs down. and just play swaps with the too half of the gunner

Yeah, Rex is a good alternative to a BARC, but it is a shame. I do like the BARC, it just needs a point adjustment.

If rumours are right, Rex is coming the 18th of this month, so not much of a wait.

Pundits will say that the ability to gain support from corps units make up the extra points for this unit, in comparison to speeder bikes.

But I think that's a poor excuse for a very sub par unit.

This unit will be irrelevant when new units with native surge to hit come out for the faction.

The only use I can see will be ion. But this unit is far too fragile to lose an action to refresh. They need that action for aiming/moving out of LOS.

Seems like BARCs have as many options as Dewbacks.
