Anyone get these yet? How do they look? Still waiting on mine to come in at my FLGS. Anyone have pictures they could share? I am surprised they haven't been mentioned on here? Unless I missed a discussion on them already?

Thanks for the pics Shnar. They look great however the Kraken's body portion looks rather small. Looks like it only fills a square where the token version fills 4 squares. I hope that is only half of it and you have to glue it together. Anyone verify the size of the Kraken? The tentacles look great. Sweetheart looks like a big and bad! Will look forward to painting that one up. And the Siren looks like standard fare for a mini. Now once Darkwind and Soriss are release all will be complete.

Agreed BR! I would expect it to be HUGE and fill one of the large bases right to the lip. I'm hoping mine show up this week because I am really interested in seeing The Kraken and hope the pic is farther away so it doesn't show off the size of this titan of the deep. I understand FFG and their keeping costs down but for these extra bits for those of us who want to "pimp out" our Descent experience(s) then I wouldn't have a problem spending a bit more if it means I get a big meaty mini to truly humble my players with.

Those are some pretty cool looking minis. If I ever finish painting all of the plastic included in the core game + expansions, lol then maybe I will look into it a bit more. Now if only they had actually included rules on how to use the Kraken in the Sea of Blood......

I finally got my SoB Lt's and they look great however I am disappointed in the size of the Kraken. His body doesn't even fill up the large base he comes with. I am sure this was to keep the price point down. But man given that these are extra bling for the die hard Descent players I was really hoping for something a lot closer to what the art was and him taking up the entire base. With how small he is he looks like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. I keep thinking that the scale and dimensions were given but were misinterpreted ala Spinal Tap and the Stonehenge model. (for those that know the reference). Given the size I am going to have to get the green stuff out and sculpt waves tossing about just to fill the base up and make it look somewhat uniform.

I'm hoping when Darkwind and Soriss come out they are big critters. But the Kraken yikes I would have paid a bit more for a more epic mini for him.

Maybe it like the thing in Alien, where its got the little mouth inside the big mouth?

Oh maybe. Either way I didn't expect the Kraken to be the diameter of a penny. Maybe this is just the baby? I will post some pics once I get it painted. I'm looking at doing my own sculpt for the Void which will be fun to create.

Yeah I was going to post it here but thought it better to just start a new thread for others to also post their Kraken figs as well. I think the addition of the turbulent waters helped to fill it out and give the Kraken a bit more size. I should have taken a before pic.
