New mandalorian trailer
I see a droid gunship.
His ship looks like its in the fleet scene from Rise of Skywalker.

Could be both. SBDs show up in Resistance apparently.
I'm guessing from the speech being given and the context of the series in the timeline, that the scenes with the Super Battle Droids and the gunship are flashbacks to when the main character was a small child. Possibly the child being carried by the couple in red.
I'd guess that the Mandalorian's village/settlement was raided and destroyed by the Separatists while he was a child.

That's my guess as well. Just a guess, mind you!
"Best in the parsec" ???
First Mr Lucas defined this as a unit of time, now it's a unit of volume.
Third time lucky? There are only two dimensions remaining so he has a 50/50..... Area or distance? Choose wisely.

Random thought: Parsec could still be a measurement of time in Star Wars, and the phrase "best in the parsec" is a Star Wars saying for "best at the time" or something like that. Since the role of "best bounty hunter" seems to change constantly in the Star Wars galaxy. Jango Fett to Cad Bane to Boba Fett to the Mandalorian.
I'm probably thinking way too deep on this.

And
Please indulge me here, I already posted this in X - Wing.
When first I heard Werner Herzog say ‘parsec’ I involuntarily smilled. That was it. The Legacy Aliens, the armour and weaponry used, even the IG series compartriot, all those were great of course.
But when that bit of detail popped up on the trailer, some chemical in my brain, the same one that is semi addicted to good tequila and and which helps organize Canon Lore, swooned into my senses.
Translation: I Can’t wait for this series to begin!

No your not 😊
As stated in the article, in simplest terms, a parsec is a unit of measurement that’s the equivalent of around 19 Trillion miles, or 3.26 light-years. If what Herzog suggests is true with these real-world measurements in mind, the Mandalorian must be a very, very good bounty hunter.
I translated Werner Herzog’s usage of parsec as a backhanded compliment.
You’re the best bounty hunter in 3ish lightyears - technically a compliment but it’s not saying much is it?
I don’t care good you or others think you are, just get the job done.

The ship on the right is the answer to the question: What if Lamborghini made a space-going yacht alongside the Countach in the 70s and 80s?
And god, was that "George Lucas Reacts" video funny. Great voice actor, great writing... great Deepfake!
