Soooo, Krenic with Tarken are best buds in my lists now, usually on Jendon's shuttle, since he can get s lock first round, but Vermeil is fine too. You seem to be going for maneuvribility.

Tarken can give free locks to the team every second turn.

Sein Marina is my new favorite optimized prototype ship, potentially with marksmanship or not.

The dream roll is the crit and hit/focus. Krenic plinks a shield/flips a damage card and then Sein spends a crit to deal a facedown damage. (I dont think the timing works in the opposite direction)

I usually fill the rest with concussion TAPs, Rexler or Tie Advances, but thats me.

I find Tarken to be pretty awesome, which means you most likely lose your shield on Sabacc, but with Tarken passing out locks, you could also trade passive sensors on echo for FCS

Correct. Seyn technically can spend the crit first, but this will cancel the remaining hit/crit/eye results (so nothing left to spend). To be effective, you'll need to do Optimized Prototype first.

This is brilliant for autodmg 😃 Have to playtest this vs Gideon, one extra attackdice should have some more consistancy in dmg and still be useful when shuttle dies.

On the other hand Sein should use prototype alot better!

Yes, since i4 i feel i4 needs some help! ;) Also i try to have ships that works good individualy, but consistent locks are hard to argue with, so you really got me back to the drawingboard with some awsome thoughts!

But where's Rantanplan?

Optimized Sein is pretty ridiculous. I've rolled 2 hits and then spent the lock going for the crit, knowing so long as I get at least a focus result, it's pretty much just as good AND knowing Tarken will give me the lock right back next turn.

Optimising Gideon so that the intricate web is as complex as possible. And therefore probably unmanageable. So that's fun.

I also have a sweet acrylic force token with the title quote printed on the back, it goes with this nicely.

Or Zertic Strom for optimal crit flipping.

I watched a game where Strom killed Luke in the engame without firing a shot by flipping a direct hit two turns in a row.

Optimising Gideon Krennic nonsense.

Played 2 games with this. What a delicate flower!

Got utterly clogged by Emon/Nym nonsense so barely any of my nonsense came off. Some poor dice and much semi manoeuvring lead to not a lot actually happening and basic guns clunking out a close win. Was a really fun game, it was just sort of bonkers :D

This whole business needs room to breath that a lot of lists simply won't allow. Which is why a lot of these constructions don't end up leaving the house with me....

Wampa was great.

2 Torrents, Goji, Mace, Ahsoka. League night sets a pilot per faction, this was a Goji tax. Mate set him up with Dorsal, VTG and a Seismic, purely for output.

Gideon did solid work on Ahsoka through the Seyn powered Krennic fandango. She spent the game on the run and survived by the skin of her teeth, which won it for the Jedi. Simultaneously, Maarek and Wampa pulled out of a potentially bad trade with Goji and a Torrent, I could've risked the dice there but either way, Ahsoka had to die really.

List functioned as intended this time though, spread out, did the things, got a little complicated with the dials and safe coverage, couple of moves flummoxed me, didnt quite cross the line.

Wampa was fantastic again.

Seyn died too fast, I rushed her hit on Ahsoka. Could've done the same work slower and had more of an impact on space. Gideon made almost brilliant use of that hit and OP. The crit was Fuel Leak, which may have turned into a nice flip for later, but didn't. A subsequent Loose Stabilser put her through a rock, that she survived.... Then dodged his final 3 hit attack. grumble, grumble

Maarek chickened out of being great ofc. I should've sent him to execute Ahsoka but I underestimated her chances of survival and... let.... her escape. Gets force choked and dragged off bridge.

Feroph was semi perfect. Futile chase on Ahsoka, I realise now.... but refused to lay around taking damage off things and just flew Krennic about luxuriously.

I may drop 7th Sister.... Force is fantastic. Plus evade. R3. Feroph is extremely tanky. Krennic lock and force means he can bump and still hit hard too, if he goes in where she may also come into play.

But if he mainly orbits, Afterburners on Maarek and Crack Shot for Gideon will do more. Force, evade and lock is just such a nice flexible kit to carry around though.

Also, with that Fuel Leak, if Gideon had Marksmanship, he could've had a couple of extra hits out of that card.... hmmmm.

I'd play the list again. It's delicate but not that hard to get the shenanigans working, since there's no real range limitation on anything. Seems good fun, if a little bit bulls***ty....

And I do love a Reaper. It seemed at home today, in a way I've struggled to find for a bit.

Dials are the hardest bit of all this ofc. They are all very limited. In different ways as well. Any combination of their firing arcs is a really bad place to be and they can make very big boxes, but continually putting those arcs where you need them to be, without them exploding, is very hard and can be quite predictable.

Wampa is easy with this much distraction though :D

I flew this for a bit. I would always give the academy Optimized to make target priority annoying. My opponent could gun for my 23 pt TIE, or let it run amok.
