So let's talk about the precedent this- and the FO/Imperial version, sets.

Let's say X-Wing 3.0 rolls back on factions. Thing is, we ain't there yet, and we ain't gonna' be there for a loooooong time.

FFG really wanted to make The Rebellion and The Resistance, The Empire and The First Order, their own factions. It doesn't look like they were given the memo on what was coming up. Not exactly a new thing to happen, now is it?

But, let's talk about it either way. I mean hel, we have The Ghost RIGHT there... We... really cannot ignore that.

So what do we do in the meantime? Do we get conversion kits for a new blended faction? Do we just keep going and get conversions for ships and pilots to be part of new factions? What exactly do we do, here? I'm left with a myriad of questions and no answers

What we do is keep playing the game and enjoying having 7 factions.

If FFG wants to give us a card pack that brings that Ghost and other ships into the Resistance, I'll be a very happy man.

We wait for December. There’s more than one VCX-100 in the galaxy.

We have no clue what’s happening in the film with this screenshot, and the vast majority of older ships we see are capital ships, not fighters or other X-Wing scale ships. For all we know this is a last ditch “get everything with a gun and an engine into space.”

We wait for FFG to do what they are going to do. Right now we have 7 factions.

The real question is when are we getting the horse cavalry as resistance crew.

This. It would be pretty easy for FFG to release a card pack to bring ships in from different factions.

It’s probably the Ghost. Ok, what can we do about it? Nothing until either new expansions and/or card packs are released.

It got torn off in the cavern chase in TLJ. It's no big deal.

My point is simply that we don’t know, and won’t know until December.

For the record, I’m inclined to agree with you re: the ghost (the colored panels do it for me), but we just don’t know if this scene justifies anything.

VCX-100s are mentioned in Solo, but there’s no scum VCX. There are YT-1300s in the prequels, but I don’t think anyone expects them to be in the Republic or Separatists.

Gameplay > Fluff.

I don't recall when Disney bought Star Wars and zapped the old EU, but Truce at Bakura didn't mean the Empire and Rebel factions merged.

Triangles are superior.

Having a different ghost with different stats and upgrades could be all kinds of different. I doubt they’ll add it to Resistance, but if they do it won’t just be like the Rebel VCX.

It will definitely still be Hera. Here's my question though... What happened to her son? Jacen was at just the right age to be one of Luke's apprentices...

My brain went to some really dark places, although Kylo offing Jacen would certainly get General Syndulla back into the fight.

That or he’s the one flying it.

If they even go into back story about it. Dipping too far into Rebels might be too much of a deep cut for this movie.

I'm all for it. If Jacen's flying the ghost, that would say a LOOOOOOOOT.

Honestly really just want to see it all come together. The Colossus is there, so hearing Kazuda over comes would be just fantastic.

Maybe. Hera would be around 70, IIRC. Of course we've also got Han and Leia and Luke doing stuff well into old age. I believe twi'leks have a similar age range to humans.

If nothing else, I expect Hera, Jacen, and Chopper to still be there. I hope we eventually get to see what they've been up to in the interim.
