In the RitR rules, in the 'rewards' section, it notes that the reward points you get allow purchase of one or more upgrades of that type, up to your award level (for winner or loser), and unspent points are lost .
I don't see that in the initial setup rules, but otherwise don't see a way to really carry those points forward, either.
IE., if instead of a 200 pt fleet, my initial list is only 197 pts...can I carry those 3 points forward to a future battle result?
Looks sort of like no, but...that does make list building a bit weird, as hitting EXACTLY 200 pts is tricky...
