"The doctor's in" before my medic adept rolled a one on using a missile launcher on a world eater marine and blowing his ass back to khorne

The Scene: The party has been warped into some subterranean cave structure by a daemon toying with them. They have absolutely no idea where they are, and the party eventually scatters into small clumps as their mutual hatred for each other leads to them storming off.

Adept: Morte (our servoskull)! Use... BINARY to get us out of these caves!

(Morte uses his pincer-dendrites to facepalm)

One of the character traits of the Arbite in our group is bad one liners, ones that are either inappropriate for the situation, or just not intimidating.

Eg.

Uses a Plasma Pistol to torch someone, and their burning corpse falls to the ground.

Arbite to still-burning corpse: "Cool off!"

Things like that.

Psyker says to a deamon worshipper. " So you want to dabble in heresy" . Now our psyker has a new pet deamon host .

During the opening scene of Tattered Fates our heroes awake to find themselves naked and in some sort of gladiatorial pit along with several similarly attired civilians. Rusty gates slowly clatter open and horrible carniverous beasts begin rushing into the pit and tearing people to shreds. Exorcist Tanya Kim gives a fiery and rousing oratory, inspiring the naked civilians to rally, rise up in righteous anger and fight the horrible beasts with their bare hands! As the beasts are tearing civilians to shreds Kira Van Eisen and Jerichus Khayer-Addin simultaneously point and speak:

"Tanya.... There is a ladder! "

Psi-1984 would have said something similar, but his inedible armoured head was inside of a beast's mouth at the time! The Techpriest was deliberately pissing off as many beasts as possible so they would attack him instead of others. TB 7 and implanted Dragonscale power armour is still handy even when most of your cybernetics are offline...

Oh man... I really needed to laugh, and "Cool off!" totally did it for me. That's an incredibly funny concept, horribly mismatched one liners.
