I just invested in the shapeshift case. Has not arrived yet (delayed due to COVID), but I got to see one up close at LVO and thought it was really cool. No magnets, no foam.

That money is better spent on magnetic solutions. Now that I have racks from Battlefoam, I'll never go back to foam. Magnetization is so much easier and way more effective/efficient.

I used to magnetize my armies when I played Warhammer. But I fly too much now for that to be a possibility. Hence the foam cases.

So that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Smoothbore flintlock (i.e. old Brown Bess), Kentucky Deckard or Spanish 1752?

A long land service musket and an artillery carbine. Both are smoothbore flintlocks.

Big plastic totes usually. If its fragile or Im worried about the pant getting scratched I wrap the pieces in old bubblewrap or newspaper

I do something similar.
