If Kylo casually force-tosses a whole fleet over his shoulder I’m there for it.

Where? I can't see anything that I can confidently call a seperatist ship.

Button center of the first fleet shot in the '83 trailer pics' set.

It's waaaaayy in the back, and a lot of things moving in front of it, but sure looks like one...

Is it just me or do some of those MC75s look like the bottom of the armored collar is different than the Profundity. Less single Command pod and more like the hydrofoil looking flat fin? Could they just be random MC cruisers with a quick slap job weapons collar to get them ready for the fight?

One of the canon short story collections mentioned a Nebulon-K so that might be one of them rather then a B or C but seriously the ST somehow does a worse job of creating new ships despite having a larger budget and not needing to create models to film scenes.

I'm not sure if it's still canon but Mon Cal ship designers and engineers build each hull from scratch following a basic pattern but each one ends up slightly different. So theoretically the Defiance would look slightly different to the Home One or The Profundity and Aspiration would look slightly different. I'll try and find the original source.

I think you got a lot wrong here:

Modified Hammerhead corvette: there is nothing modified here. Just a normal hammerhead.

Hammerhead Corvette: Definitely not a hammerhead corvette. Hammerheads have their bow vertical. This ships bow is horizontal.

LAAT/c?: Definitely no LAAT/c. The LAAT/c does not have any circular parts on its wing tips like the ship here. Also the LAAT/c's wings slope downward. This ships wings seem to slope upward. Its also not an LAAT since the circular things here clearly are some kind of tubular jet intake where as the circular bits on the LAAT are spherical turret cockpits.

Liberator CR-90 Corvette!: Nope. This is definitely a Pelta.

Canon Defender-class Light Corvette?: This is a Free Virgillia-class Bunkerbuster as seen in TLJ

GR-75 Medium Transport and Modified GR-75?: I don't think those are GR75s. They appear way to big to be GR-75s.

Floating Ion cannon?: I think that is the same ship as the one behind the VCX 100. Pretty sure that is a Vakbeor-class cargo frigate also from TLJ

Directly above the word 'Cruiser' (referring to the MC75) is what looks like a Corellian Gunship (to my eyeballs).

Hi @LordCola

I mentioned in other threads it’s not mine, I just very much like imagery/graphic that the OP started here and wanted to share it.
I sent him 3 corrections (2 were mine, the Defender and the LAAT) and he’s working on it.

I completely agree and you caught a few more, I do like the breakdown he started here.

It looks like a Lucrehulk in the far back.

Wheres my Spaceballs Winnebago?

It's an Auzituck gunship.

I am not sure it is.

The Auzitucks wings are curved. The mystery ships wings are straight. I think it is also missing the top fin. Also this ships wings seem much longer than the Auzitucks.

It's possible it's something else... but given the silhouette, cockpit design, coloration and engines I'd chalk up differences to either a newer model lore-wise or shrugging off the animated art style.

I haven't seen anything else that matches the profile so well, and I'll wager eating one of those TIE fighters Dras likes so much.

I’ve seen speculation that it could be the ship class that is flown by the mandalorian In the upcoming show.

Possible... but it would need to be a different model, because the trailer ship is a lot boxier and has different engine placement. And they're both live-action quality.

Yea they look a bit different to me seeing them side by side.

Its probably an entirely new ship.

On a related note The Star Wars Show may have just indirectly confirmed the presence of the Colossus in the shot of the massive Resistance fleet.😲

The more I see it, the more the composition of this image offends me. Like, a lot.

Every last ship in that armada is pointed DIRECTLY at the viewer, not a single ship is going to pass by just to the left/right/above/below without a course change, they're ALL careening directly towards a single point, a point that's close by, and they've reached the point where there's hardly any more room to maneuver. They're not coming at this point to pass a narrow channel (or whatever) because they're fully spread out, not in a line. They're not spread out enough to effectively concentrate fire on the convergence point, because the guys in back are completely obstructed. It's just... lazy and bad.

(It's not as bad as the copy/pasted stormtroopers in the Rogue One poster (no, I will never let that go) but it's worse every time I look at it.)

I'm sure if the scene had passed by in the movie I would have been so excited to see it that I never would have noticed or thought about it the composition, but because you b*astards made me look at it over and over again I hate it.

Thanks. :)

Ok. I totally understand how you feel about this shot. The reality of it is that their admiral is an abject idiot for letting his battleline bunch up like that making for such and easy target. How could miss not hitting something. However, this is a universe with space wizards with laser swords riding space ponies down the hull of an ISD. A properly spaced realistic line would stretch for 10s of miles and be very unimpressive or exciting in a movie like this. Second point, the nerds have been complaining about a lack of ships and such, this scene alone will keep them happy and discussing what is what for the next two months. I do agree, it is really stupid on one level, but on another level... SPACESHIP!!!

Surprised the Resistance isn’t concerned about bunching their fleet together considering what Holdo did to a fleet that was much more spread out than this.

I’m betting this fleet is about to jump into Hyperspace and that they won’t actually deploy into battle this jumbled together.
