You guys don't really buy this Time Travel dreck do you? Okay, let me sort something straight here, alright?

There was no real Time Travel in Star Wars: Rebels. Anybody who watched it and got two iota to rub together can piece together that whatever had happened had already happened, and was going to, in that place between spaces. No, really. When Kanan died? Ezra had already made the decision not to save him. Because, if you were paying attention...

Things from different times, past present and future, could be heard going on. You know what this implies? I hope so.

In this space between worlds, time is nonlinear, but anything that WAS going to interact with it, already had or was going to in some fashion. You can change nothing in there, because what you will have done will have already BEEN done in that space. If you're still confused, the very fact that we can hear Kylo Ren speaking proves to us that every action that had led to Kylo Ren being at that exact point in time, had already happened as far as that space between worlds was concerned. Not only that, it was forever closed off to the likes of...

Well, everybody. Accessing it took some pretty specific criteria. We should note too, that while Palpatine had access to it, he could not enter it, because the gateways were not somewhere he could go. Those Jedi Temples were inaccessible to him. This is proven when the Inquisitors try to use the temple to corner Ezra, Ahsoka, and Kanan... But, visions of their old master attack and befuddle them. The Dark Side cannot win and has no influence in this place.

So, the gateway was always shut off. I mean, for goodness' sake, only Ezra was actually able to access it. Specifically, ONLY Ezra. Need further proof?

Ahsoka did not access it either. She was pulled in by Ezra, and set loose- put back in her time, just after the events of Vader's duel. You want to know something even crazier?

Vader most certainly informed Palpatine of this gate that she disappeared into. By the time Palpatine had figured it out, guess what! He runs into Ezra in that space between worlds!

Please tell me you're still following and have finally reached the proper conclusion and thus the correct answer, please!

TIME TRAVEL NEVER EXISTED IN STAR WARS. IT IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT TYPE OF INTERACTION THAT IS SIMULTANEOUSLY NOT AN INTERACTION.

Time Travel does not exist in Star Wars! Gah! Nobody even traveled through time in that space! Ahsoka only moved from a different place, to another different but similar place! Same for Ezra!

I canNOT believe that the star wars fandom, priding itself on digging deep into stuff, STILL CAN'T SEEM TO GRASP THIS.

HHHHH.

I mean this in jest, but couldn't resist...

The Star Wars Show may have just indirectly confirmed the presence of the Colossus in the shot of the massive Resistance fleet. 😲

wait guys im missing it, where is the Auzituck? thats the one i cant find, maybe im blind.

Some people say it’s the ship from The Mandalorian, some say it’s the Auzituck...

It's neither. It'd be cool if it was the Auzituck but I'm just not seeing that out of it.

It's definitely not the Razorcrest, the engines are the wrong way up in relation to the wings. The cockpit isn't super Auzituck-y either, though.

It's actually rather smart of Disney. Since the new trilogy screwed the pooch they'll let JJ do what he did with Star Trek and reveal it's another timeline due to shenanigans in this movie.

In a couple years thy'll reboot the ST with CGI actors filling in for the passed, Mark Hamill will be real though, he hints at more movies on his IG.

Aw man, I thought you were gone.

Nope, just transitioning through things.

In the Star Wars Show this week, they mentioned something about the Colossus from Star Wars: Resistance when talking about the SW:ROS trailer. Does anyone see it in the shots?

There is one on the far left of the images that has a hull configuration similar to the lower section of the Colossus. I don't see the upper most section of the Colossus on it though.

Maybe that is what they're referring to?

Maybe. That is a bit hard to make out. Either way, that seemed to indicate it would be in the film or at least was in this trailer and that's got me excited.

I'm having trouble making out the left side lower image mentioned for the Colossus.

But maybe the top portion is shown in the picture without the Falcon, lower center in the gab between the U-wing, the Ervana, the red ship, and the not-Auzituck.

Here's my guess for what might be the Colossus, which is in the lower left of the image, after the camera pans down a little bit. It's pretty much directly below the Falcon's cockpit, just before the trailer cuts to the next scene.

It is missing the upper superstructure of the fuel station.

Good old JJ, another shot that looks cool as ****, but makes no sense in terms of any kind of reality. WHY ARE HUNDREDS OF STARSHIPS SO **** CLOSE TOGETHER?!!?!!??

Reality? LOFL

Reality of that universe. If the First Order remeber how they lost their ship to one hyperspace jumping ship, ramming one star destroyer trough that closely flewn Rebel fleet, will take it all out. Rian completely ruined the rules/reality of the space combat we know SW universe.

I just came in here to say congrats xwing, we managed to keep this open. The legion one is locked.

No one did anything of the sort. Ignoring TLJ which had no bearing on this, all those ships tightly packed together would make a real easy target for any sort or weapon. If it was real life. And if it was real life giant worms couldn't live on asteroids, and even if they could people wouldn't be able to walk around inside their digestive tract, surely it would be a vacuum?

People also wouldn't be able to move stuff with their minds, or fly space ships like WW2 aeroplanes, or be digested over 1000 years me know about it....

Star Wars is all pretend, they never cared about physics or logic in the OT so why are you expecting the new ones too? Seems to be impossing a really odd standard on something that's never had it before.

Well I know why. It's cos you're upset about your nonsense fanfiction books not being canon. And really I don't care. But can't you just go and be upset about nonsense somewhere that doesn't drag it down for other people?

My complaint is that they simply seem to ignore any of the previous materials. Where in the SW's movies is there a massive gaggle of ships in formation that would make a Blue Angels pilot sweat?

At least the previous movies have showed space in space a bit.

These formations make sense

I think they are hiding in some sort of gas cloud. Maybe an ambush? Risky but they'll spread out when they attack

Perhaps he may end up as the balance in the Force that the Father wanted him to be.

In the end, its always been Anakin's story.

I'm pretty much banking on this, to the point that I'll be quite disappointed if it's not the case.

That said, I desperately hope they don't pull an endgame and do stupid time-travel stuff that puts suspension-of-disbelief one step beyond where I can deal with it.

I've got my hopes up way too high for this movie, so I'm probably going to be disappointed. :(

As well, even if we hang onto the idea that you cannot change the past, there is nothing saying that Rey and/or Kylo could not go back and meet with Vader the night on Endor, tell him that he was going to die saving his son's life from the Emperor, and asking him for insight against Palpatine. The events of RotJ would have still played out the way that they would have, but then ST folks could have returned to their time with more information about Palp, or some sort of similar information gathering action which is well within the scope of the WbW without traveling between time.

Hoooooooley Carp.

This would be incredible. Ticks the boxes of perfectly coherent and incredible fan-service.

Prediction: Space horseys (sporseys) will be a new Resistance upgrade. One charge, not reloadable. Riders take up crew slots. Only useful against huge ships.

Seriously, this film is going to be an intergalactic-level dumpster fire.
