I fly rebels exclusively. I have never flown luke and just gor a HWK290 and this was born. I usually stick to B wings and Y wings with the occasional Wedge but I love Lando. So efficient and flies very different than everything else. Any ideas welcome

A Hwk without Moldy Crow is just...entirely too sad...

This doesn't seem to help much. If you think the HWK without the title is "sad", what would you do to the list to make it "happy" in your eyes?

As the list stands, Lando and Luke are fairly tanky / evasive, respectively. There doesn't seem to be a lot happening here, otherwise; I assume that Jan is meant to hang back and provide that attack boost, with Jyn giving giving folks evades where possible?

Out of all this list, Jan is the one who's likely to die first, 'because she's not terribly quick and she's relatively squishy. Engine Upgrade is certainly one way to go, but if you wanted to capitalize on Jan before she flames out, you could do Electronic Baffle instead to get rid of a few red tokens more quickly.

Interesting. The list punishes aces pretty well with lando since his big arc is hard to dodge and he is double modded + the Jan boost. The list can outrun most people and just circle until a favorable engagement. I have only flown it once and beat Vader Oicunn Inquisitor. If lando is well modded he gives his action to luke so he can TL someone. Jan's 2 die attack is pretty good at stripping away tokens or plinking away little bits of damage. Would dropping Jan and R2D2 for Braylen be a better choice?

Could be wrong, but I got the impression @Greebwahn was speaking more from a thematic place than an actual list-practicality place.

A little of both lol

Practical list-wise - ditch Jan. She doesn't do enough without the title, and you can't trim enough to get it. Throw in maybe an Arvel with Intimidation and Predator if you want to boost Luke and Lando's offense while having an independently useful 3rd ship

Jan works well as a first shot to either take a token or do 1 damage so luke or Lando can do a 4 or 5 dice double modded shot and put in some hurt.

I thought about switching luke and jan for norra with ICT VTG and wedge. Braylen is also on the table as an alternate

I mean, if you've flown it already and you're pretty happy with it, I don't see many reasons why you should change anything, beyond curiosity / boredom. 🙂 Braylen would certainly be tankier than Jan, but he's not gonna give you the boosts to Lando that you're looking for. Dutch Vander with a Dorsal Turret, R4 Unit and Expert Handling gives you a fairly similar ship with action economy to hand out, while being a bit beefier.

Ill give dutch a shot. Jan is there to buff Lando (or luke) and to ideally make the opponent spend a token before luke shoots. Luke with 4 dice Target lock and 2 force is esentially 4 hits. He halfed two inquisitor in one shot in my last game. One with a range 2 + jan shot. One at range 1 + jan
