Getting a friend into Legion and I'll be helping him get started on painting his clones. He wants to paint them as 212th, but I don't use orange a whole lot though for my other painting projects. Anyone have some suggestions on what orange paints work well for 212th? I use Games Workshop's paints.

You could probably use the Gryph hound orange contrast paint. Or you could use Troll Slayer Orange hilighted with Firedragon Bright.

Though in some stuff they look a bit yellow so you could put down troll slayer mixed with some yriel yellow and then highlight over it adding more yriel yellow in each layer.

I'm not sure about Citadel, Their selection of orange paints isn't that good variety wise. So I would take a look a Vallejo's range. The VGC Gold Yellow and the VMC Light orange both seem decent fits, depending on weather you're looking for a more yellowish or orange-ish look for your 212th.

@Zrob314 I did a little experimenting with Troll Slayer and Firedragon, I think that fits fairly well if not an exact copy of the right orange.

@Atromix Yeah citadel does not have a lot of orange options. I've never used Vallejo paints but perhaps I'll give those a try.
