As these are non-unique and all single model squadrons, therefore irregular?

Not quite
tge phantom is wrong there.
”Irregular” squadrons are squadrons that use one model instead of 3.
As per the rules given in Imperial II, Rebel II, Rogues and Villains, and RitR.
Edited by DrasnightaMando Gauntlet Fighter would also be irregular.
