Seems like an odd limitation considering On the Doorstep comes with some hero cards of its own.

Are there any rules or guidelines on using Saga cards in the "regular" Deluxe expansions or adventure pack scenarios? I'm assuming you can't use the treasure cards, and maybe not Bilbo? But what about the other cards, are they all fair game?

Funny how they encourage you to use the same group of heroes when one of my biggest faults is probably sticking with the same cards unless they aren't working. I should probably be experimenting more, I'm sure there are a lot of different approaches you could take to deck building.

No treasure cards, and no Bilbo (so by extension, no baggins cards). Other than that, all the player cards act the same way in regular quests.
